Dr Michele Calvird is a general adult psychiatrist, who graduated as a medical practitioner from the University of Queensland in 1996, obtaining a MBBS. She then trained as a psychiatric registrar at the Gold Coast Hospital, Newcastle Mental Health Service, and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Michele completed her psychiatric training in 2005, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

Since qualifying as a psychiatrist, Michele has worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Logan Hospital, and Bundaberg Hospital. Michele has also worked in private practice as a psychiatrist since 2006, and now works solely in the private sector.

Michele is an adult psychiatrist who treats a wide range of mental health conditions and has special interest areas in Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and perinatal mental health.
